Over the last couple of years, the Cars & Coffee in Omaha (now known as West Omaha Euro & Exotics) has grown in popularity. Unfortunately, it’s had its share of flaws. So after quite a good deal of planning, haggling, and working with sponsors and insurance, I’m helping a friend of mine start an all new Cars & Coffee-style event, which we’ve dubbed Countryside Cars & Caffeine. Our first show is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . So, like the headline says, here goes nothing.

Why do you need sponsors and insurance? I’ve never gone to a C&C type thing and figured it was just people meeting in a parking lot.

Good luck, and hope it goes well. I have a bunch of family in Omaha that I visit periodically, so I’ll be keeping an eye out for any which might coincide with those trips.

I never went because the Facebook event was all “limited space, selective parking enforced. No domestic cars.”

Sponsors to pay for the insurance, liability insurance because the venue won’t host the event without it.

Finding a venue, getting event insurance, getting the word out to car owners, getting the Facebook stuff set up, getting a graphic/logo, finding volunteers, etc
